Snow much so. So much snow.
The weather is something else up here. It seems as if every week ice proceeds to fall from the sky. Snow is the worst in the city because all the snow melt travels down the streets and collects in large pools on the street corners. These large moats of dark murky street water separate the curbs from the cross walks, and form a rather filthy obstacle for us pedestrians.

I was walking to work one morning after, and I never thought I’d say this, a relatively light snow of about 3 inches when I saw a girl slip. She lost control of her self right in front of one of those nasty puddles of street water, but she stopped from falling. She stood upright with her knees bent, and I applauded her reflexes to myself in light of the terrible consequences of falling into the puddle of murk. Then suddenly, just as well as she had miraculously saved her dignity on this street corner, she lost it.
There she sat with a defeated look on her face in the middle of a dark pool of dirty snow melt. She slowly came to terms with her misfortune and gradually began to stand up in the middle of the puddle. She looked at me as if she didn’t know what to do with herself and I peered back at her with a face full of regret and said, “You gotta take a bath.”
